Mr. Ronnie Joe Mans, age 71 of South River Trail, Martin passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at his residence.
A son of the late Chester Mans and Cora Bell Murray Mans, he was born May 28, 1954 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was employed with Southern Craftsman for a number of years before retiring to take care of his mother and family. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved his Jeep, Lazy Bones and loved going to the races at Toccoa Speedway and Lavonia Speedway. He loved meeting people and never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Chester Mans, Jr. "Red". George Mans and Jerry Mans and his sisters, Bonnie Mans and Mildred Mans Afrlin.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Darlene Bohannon Manns; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Manns, Jr. (Shannon) of Lavonia, Joshua Manns (Shelly) of Toccoa and Adam Manns (Ashley) Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Liberty Haler (Caleb), Destiny Manns, Cambree Schmid, Zachery Manns and Hunter Abernathy; great-granddaughter, Olivia Haler "Toot Toot"; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanie and George Bohannon, Linda Sellers and Joanie and Bill Moss; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Brenda Mans; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 18, 2025, 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Ray Bohannon officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and should assemble at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m., Zachery Manns, Caleb Haler, Jimmy Clord, Kevin Bohannon, Shane Folds, Matt Bohannon, Eric Bohannon and Matthew Tice.
The family will be at the home of Ronnie and Shannon Manns, 8016 Hwy. 59, Lavonia, Georgia and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Roselane Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Ronnie Joe Mans.
