Ronnie Pitts Sr, 74, of West Terre Haute passed away December 24, 2024. He was born January 22, 1950, to Charles Albert Pitts and Lillian Marie Prouse Pitts. Ronnie was a diehard Colts fan. He was a quiet hardworking man who loved his family and loved to spend time with them. He also enjoyed playing pool on Saturdays at Patrick’s garage with his brothers. When he was younger, he very much enjoyed fishing. He always had time for his special dog, Ivy. He is preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother Lonnie Pitts, and a sister-in-law Sharron. He is survived by his wife, Sue Lemrick Pitts (m.1969), daughter, Sharon Unger (Tim), sons, Ronnie Pitts Jr., Shawn Pitts Sr., and Patrick Pitts (Susan Cooper), brother Boy Pitts (Christine), Terry Pitts, cousin Henry Shattuck, grandchildren, Michael Jenkins (Brittnee) Nicholas Jenkins, Haley Blitz (Micheal), Rachel Pitts, Travis Pitts, Brittany Pitts, Keely Watson (Chase), Shawn Pitts Jr., and Laney Pitts along, with 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services for Ronnie are scheduled for Monday, December 30, 2024, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN, 47885 at 1 PM. Visitation is scheduled from 11 to service time on Monday. Pastor Bob Roush will officiate burial will be in new Vermillion cemetery.
