Ronnie "Ron" Lee Gordon, 76, of Tipton, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 9, 1948 to Leland and Betty (Dye) Gordon in Noblesville, Indiana.

Ron graduated from Noblesville High School in 1967 and took an interest in aviation from his teacher Don Roberts. He proudly served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War as a flight deck troubleshooter. Among some of the bases on which he served were El Toro, California and Cherry Point, North Carolina. Ron was a private pilot with his own plane, a 1946 Stinson, and he worked on George H. W. Bush's helicopter in the early 1990's.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathryn Gordon; daughter, Jennifer Gordon; brother, Jamey Gordon; sister, Yvonne Gordon; sister-in-law, Iris (Howard) Eller; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence Gordon, Terry Gordon, and Simmy Gordon.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Carey Cemetery, 22221 State Road 37 North in Noblesville.
