Ronnie Lee Shead

Ronnie Lee Shead of Galena Park, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the age of 60.

He was born on December 14, 1965 in Galveston, TX and adopted soon thereafter by Marvin and Irene Shead.

Ronnie was a loving, selfless person, a devout Christian and member of the Bacliff Church of Christ. He was always looking on others' needs and trying to fulfill those needs in any way possible. For years Ronnie worked for Grand Slam Carwash. He made friends of the employees and many of the customers, who would look for him to visit while their cars were being serviced Even on his toughest days during his illness, Ronnie would insist on checking the different locations on his phone and visiting certain ones, especially the one on Walker Street. He was on hand to help in any way to make sure things were up to his standards. Ronnie also loved to dress up and look spiffy! He would wear Hawaiian shirts or just bright colors or Astros attire, and some of the funniest colorful socks that you've ever seen.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Irene Shead, brother Larry and sister, Sherry.

He is survived by son Leeland and daughter Logan, sisters Pauline (Kenneth), Freda and Margaret, brother Ricky (Maribel), and aunts Liz Snell and Linda Cinnamon (Gary).

The Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 22 at 2pm at the Bacliff Church of Christ in Bacliff.
