Ronnie Specht
1949 - 2025
Ronnie Specht, 76,
St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025.
He was born on June 9, 1949, to Herbert Fred and Dorothy May (Oyler) Specht in Moorhead, Minnesota.
Ronnie completed his high school education and pursued higher learning, acquiring college credits that would later play a role in his dedicated career as a lab tech for a water pollution company in St. Joseph.
A true servant at heart, Ronnie was profoundly involved in the Green Valley Baptist Church community where he was one of the members. There, he nurtured minds as a teacher for many years, also delighting many with his love for singing. His soulful voice became a beacon of joy, eagerly anticipated by all who attended the services. His dedication to his faith was evident; he believed in the importance of sharing his journey with Jesus, earnestly hoping that others would find the same solace and love in faith that he did.
Ronnie wore his Kansas City Chiefs fandom proudly, often seen donning the team's merchandise as a badge of honor.
He enjoyed the time spent with his church family and their children's activities, sporting events, the circus and movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary Lee Specht.
He is survived by his wife Susan and extended family members and friends.
While his departure leaves a void in the tapestry of many lives, the multitude of memories he leaves behind will forever be cherished by many. Ronnie's legacy extends beyond his immediate family and into the community where he was seen as a father figure.
As we bid farewell to Ronnie Specht, the memories of his kind deeds, gentle teachings, and the love he spread in his community will continue to live on, a silent melody of a life so beautifully lived.
