A Celebration of Life for Ronnie Templeton will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Grayson, La with Bro. Shane Duke officiating.
Ronnie Joe Templeton was born January 24, 1949 in Delhi, Louisiana to the union of his parents, Elmore Templeton and Opal Owens Templeton and passed from this life at his residence on January 15, 2025. Ronnie was a truck driver for many years until he retired. He loved fishing, cooking, eating crawfish, riding back roads, and watching movies at home. Ronnie never met a stranger and loved his family more than anything else. He never missed a day of talking to his girls on the phone. They will forever cherish the memories made with him.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maria Templeton; brother, Shelby Templeton; and his sister, Wilma Murray. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, DeAnna Bruyninckx (Matt), Jamie Nelson (David); his brother, Donald Templeton (Beverly); his sister, Sybil Dixon (Boo); his grandchildren, Devin Gole (Lee), Kaylen Schaefer (Jack), Nolyn Bruyninckx, Katelyn Primm (Justin), Alyssa Bruyninckx (Paul), Lathan Dennis (Brittany), Emory Nelson, and Madilyn Nelson; great-grandchildren, Leeland, Copeland, Ty, Tatum, Talan, E.J., and Blair; his beloved dog Gravy as well as a host of special friends, and family.
