Ronnie Marvin Wells, born on May 29, 1947, to Roland and Laura Wells of Milton, Vt., Ronnie grew up on Cobble Hill with his three sisters, Valerie, Peggy and Rolann, and brother who predeceased him, Robert Wells.
Ronnie spent his adult life being the Patriarch of Cobble Hill. His many nieces and nephews always looked up to “Uncle Ronnie” for his unyielding love and guidance. Ronnie loved to work on trucks and succeeded in sharing that passion with his nephews Calvin Hill, Todd Young, and Bobby Young. These are some of his greatest accomplishments.
Ronnie married twice and fathered four daughters, Tina Somers, Sue Anne Anderson, Tania Bright and Roxanne Wells. He leaves two grandchildren, Trevor Wells and Connor Mumley as well as his five great grand children.
His unwavering loyalty extended not only to his family but also to friends who stood by him thick and thin, filling his days with laughter and love, such as Jerry and Sandy Charbaneau, Casey and Jeremy Bushey, Craig Cowles and countless more. He passed away in his home surrounded by his family and friends.
A visitation honoring Ronnie's memory will be held on Friday from 4-6pm at the Minor Funeral Home in Milton. Following the prayer service at 6pm there will be a dinner reception. A burial service will follow on Saturday at 11 AM St. Anne Cemetery as we bid farewell to a beloved soul who touched so many lives with kindness and generosity.
His honor guard will be Trevor Wells, Todd Young, John King, Craig Cowles, Jerry Charbaneau and Edward Wells.
