Ronnie Joe Williams, age 75, passed away on November 16, 2024 in Dallas, Texas, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born on August 10, 1949, in Wills Point, Texas, Ronnie was the son of Gladys and B.W. Williams.

In 1955, Ronnie and his family relocated to East Dallas, where he attended Julia C. Frasier Elementary School and Lincoln High School. 

Ronnie cherished many fond memories, particularly those of his Moma Roxey reading the Bible to him. A passionate music enthusiast, he enjoyed the works of artists like Biggie Smalls, with "I Love It When They Call Me Big Poppa" being among his favorites. He was known for his charming personality and had a love for chess, which he played avidly. Throughout his life, Ronnie was affectionately known by several nicknames, including Nehi, Big Will, and CB (Country Boy).

Professionally, Ronnie achieved an associate degree in business from Lee College and a bachelor's degree in business from East Texas A&M. He was certified in auto mechanics and welding, reflecting his diverse skills and commitment to learning.

Ronnie's greatest joy came from his family, and he devoted himself to their well-being. He embraced his faith and gave his life to Christ before his passing.

He is survived by his four children: Ronnie Morgan, Lametrice Walker, (Ricky) LaShanda Henderson, and Lamontry Lott (Shemika); four brothers: James Smith (Jackie), Jonnie Williams, B.W. Williams Jr., and Anthony Williams (Bobbie); two sisters: Helen Lamb and Doris Williams; two aunts: Opaline Thomas and Lessie Morehead; as well as nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys M. Williams; father, B. W. Williams Sr.; brother, Allen W. Williams; granddaughter, Kadiesha Morgan; nephew, Cornelius Bonner; and several aunts and uncles.

His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
