Ronny Tucker Obituary
Ronny Glenn Tucker, 72, of Locust, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
Mr. Tucker was born on December 2, 1950, to the late Ira Mack and Leola Huneycutt Tucker. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Donny Tucker.
Ronny was a charter and lifetime member of the Stanly County Marine Corp League Detachment #1021 and an officer of the VFW #2908. He enjoyed shooting firearms and fishing.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will be held 4:00 pm, Sunday, July 16, 2023, at First Baptist Church, 320 South Central Avenue, Locust, officiated by Rev. Eddie Barbee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ronny is survived by his son, Gary (Erika Williams) Tucker; stepson, SFC Harold Gene (Kelly) Randolph; step-grandchildren: Nicholas, Westly, MaKenzi, and Brooke; brothers, George Tucker, Larry Tucker; and sister, Doris Surratt.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the family.
