Rosa Isela Ariciaga

Rosa Isela Ariciaga, 61, entered into eternal rest on December 1, 2025, at her residence in San Benito, Texas.

Rosa was a woman of deep faith whose greatest joy was her family. She was their foundation, both a mother and a father, steadfast, independent, and endlessly resourceful. With just a few ingredients, she could create meals that were unforgettable, dishes that no one could ever quite replicate. She made her house a true home, a place filled with warmth, love, and security for her children.

Rosa found joy in the simple and beautiful things of life. She loved gardening, crocheting blankets, cooking, baking, decorating, and listening to romantic music. She had a special affection for Winnie the Pooh and porcelain dolls, and she especially cherished days spent at the beach collecting seashells.

She is survived by her three children: Juan Jose Bustos Ariciaga (Mariana Isabel Lacorte Castaneda) of Ciudad Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Flor Guadalupe Bustos Ariciaga of Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and Jose Francisco Bustos Ariciaga (Charlissa Kayleen) of San Benito, Texas. She also leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren: Ian Joseph Lionnel Bustos Lacorte, Nemessis Alessandre Bustos Lacorte, Victoria Argentina Bustos Lacorte, Sbastian Anhtolin Bustos Lacorte, Andre Lucca Bustos Lacorte, Arely Jasmin Sanchez Bustos, Heily Mairenn Sanchez Bustos, and Eithan Jaziel Agundis Bustos. Rosa is further survived by her brother, Arcadio Ariciaga, and her sisters, Cecilia Arciaga and Laura Marin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with an evening service at 7:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace in Harlingen.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Faith Church, 641 Coral St., San Benito, Texas, 78586, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Pastor George Arguellas will officiate. Interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery in Harlingen, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Jose Bustos, Jacob Arguelles, George Arguelles, Jaime, Daniel Ibarra, and Isaias Ariciaga.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas.
