She was born in Rutigliano, Bari, Italy before coming to this country. She loved to cook and going out to different restaurants. Rosa loved her garden. She loved to dance, travel and to sight see. She loved to swim at the beach and enjoyed the beauty of the earth and of life. She enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and her scratch offs from the lottery. She was a seamstress and made her own clothes. Rosa loved being with her daughter and grandchildren. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church (Christ the King Parish) in Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfredo Cristofaro; her parents, Francesco and Grazia Guarnieri; her brother, Vito Guarnieri and her sister, Giuseppina.
Surviving is her daughter, Joanna Cristofaro and her fiancée, Jonathan Givens, Sr.; grandchildren, Giovanna Rosa Cristofaro-Givens and Jonathan Latroy Givens, Jr.; and her sisters, Angela, Lina and Maria.
Visiting will be on Sunday from 1-4 pm at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Monday at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
