Mrs. Rosa Pamelia Elmore, age 68, of Clarksville, Tennessee left her earthly home for her heavenly home Thursday, November 8, 2023 with her loving husband of 46 years, Mr. Elmore, by her side. Rosa was born on December 19, 1954, in Gamboa, Panama to the union of Candido Melendez (deceased) and Elladine Flatts (deceased).   Rosa accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a faithful member of Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a member of the Finance Committee and was a dedicated member until her health prohibited her from attending physically; however, she continued to attend services virtually. She received her formal early education in Panama, undergraduate degree from Austin Peay State University and graduate degree from Phoenix University.   Rosa was employed with the federal government in various positions for over 30 years, but with the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, until her retirement in 2018. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.   Rosa was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Marsha Nesfield, and her parents.   She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, Lagusta Elmore, children - Renee Elmore-Thomas (Mark), Sheanette Nicole Spencer (Doron), and Monica Elmore-Neal (Keith); brothers - Rogelio, Antonio, and Marlon Melendez (Ines); sister - Lydia Clark-Melendez (Danny); grandchildren - Marcelle, Alexis, Ahliyana, Asaiah, Neylani, Khamari, Trevon, Arria, and Arion; bonus grandchildren - Khadijah, Kayla, and Trinity; great-grandchild - Za’Kai; a host of nieces and nephews and several other extended family members and friends.
