Rosa Frances Escobar,70, of Yakima, Washington passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 15,1954 in Ballinger, TX to Fortino and Dominga Escobar.
Rosa was very special, one of a kind and the light in any room she stepped in. She loved gardening, her home was always filled with many beautiful plants she took a lot of pride in maintaining. She loved good music and also loved to dance. Rosa had a huge family that she was always so proud of and would share that with anyone any chance she got. Her love was never limited and shared with so many.
Rosa is survived by her husband of 30 years John Ramos, her six children Angela Peña, Tiodoro Riojas (Christina), Rosita Riojas (JD), Veronica Mancilla (Ismael), Jeremyah Parras (Samantha), Tommy Soliz (Elizabeth), 31 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren as well as many siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents Fortino and Dominga Escobar and her brothers Fortino Escobar Jr, Rudy Escobar and Juanito (Johnny Boy) Escobar.
Services will be held on December 17th at 12pm at Shaw & Sons funeral home (201 N 2nd St., Yakima, WA 98901) followed by a burial at Terrace Heights Memorial Park (3001 Terrace Heights Drive, Yakima, WA 98901)
