Rosa Pena Obituary
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Raul "Charlie" Peña. They were blessed with two children, Raul, Jr. and Samantha. She was one of several children, including her beloved twin, Gustavo. Always an immaculate housekeeper and exceptional cook, Rosie loved her LORD and she loved her children, always supporting them in their activities. They were her pride and joy. Rosie had a beautiful personality, a radiant smile and her family loved to share those special occasions with her. Her grandchildren were her world and they in turn, adored their "Bamba". Her great aunt by marriage, "Tia" was very special to Rosie and they had a special bond. Rosie leaves an array of memories with her family.
Rosie is survived by her beloved children Raul, Jr. (wife Christine) and Samantha Peña Ortiz (husband Fabian); grandsons Gilbert Raul Peña, Eric Rey Peña, Aaron Alberto Zuñiga (wife Shaela), Adam Josue Roman and great grandson Lukas James Peña.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
Visitation will continue on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM; followed by a chapel service at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
The interment will follow at San Felipe Cemetery, in Del Rio, Texas.
