Rosa Delia Perez

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Rosa Delia Perez, known lovingly by her family and friends as Delia. She passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, in Nuevo, California. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a kindhearted soul whose warmth touched everyone blessed to know her. Though her time with us was far too short, her love and spirit will live forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Delia's life began on August 27, 1967, in Chihuahua, Mexico, and was defined by faith, love, community, adventure, and unwavering devotion to her family. She had a rare gift for empathy, a deep ability to listen, care, and comfort. She shared that gift endlessly with the love of her life, Eddie, and passed it on to her two sons, Daniel and Adam, who were her greatest joy and proudest accomplishments.

For more than two decades, Delia devoted her heart and soul to education, teaching young students' minds about the intricacies of science, robotics, and art. She was the kind of educator who made learning exciting, who believed in every child's potential, and who offered compassion and calm when others needed it most. Even while balancing a full-time career, she pursued her dream of earning an associate's degree while continuing to be a devoted wife and mother.

At home, Delia was the glue of her family. She was the one who turned the house into a home. She made sure everyone was cared for, that faith in God remained at the center, and that her children had every opportunity to thrive. She remembered every favorite meal, made every birthday special, and never missed a single important life event. Her presence and words of comfort had a way of making the hardest of days disappear into a smile or a laugh.

Delia was full of strength and grace, inspiring everyone who knew her. She loved the simple joys in life, dancing to her favorite songs, watching Hallmark movies during the holidays, decorating the house, or getting lost in a faith-based book. Her playful side always shone through: she enjoyed inside jokes, movie references, and making funny faces just to get her family to laugh. She gave love through her cooking, her thoughtful gifts, and her constant selflessness. Her deep Catholic faith guided her through every chapter of her life and filled her with wisdom, peace, and purpose.

As we say goodbye, we carry forward the lessons of compassion, humility, and devotion that Delia so beautifully embodied. Her life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of faith. Her memory will continue to inspire, comfort, and bless all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Delia is survived by her adoring husband, Eddie, her beloved sons, Daniel and Adam, her cherished mother, Esperanza, and her dear siblings, Roberto, Cindy, Alicia, and Adela. Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit will forever remain our source of light and love.

As we reflect on Delia's life, we are reminded of what it means to live with grace, give with an open heart, and love without limits. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
