Rosa M. Sesti (nee Cicerelli), aged 91, died in her home in O’Fallon, MO on July 1, 2023. Loving wife of the late Salvatore M. Sesti, she came to St. Louis from Lago, Italy, following their marriage in 1953. Her greatest loves were her family including her children; John Sesti, Fran (Jim) Phillips, her grandchildren David (Jeffrey Reiner) Phillips, Michael (Morgan) Phillips, Salvatore Christopher (Jessika) Sesti, Mary Sesti, and her sweet great grandson, Gus Sesti.
Rosa was the 3rd of 7 children to Cesare and Giovanna Cicerelli. Her brothers, Nick (Clorinda), Gabe (Ann), Aquilino (Joanne) and Angelo (Anna Marie) Cicerelli also lived in the St. Louis area. Her sisters, Mafalda (Ralph) Scanga and Frances (Albert) Barone settled in New York.
Rosa loved her family, baking cookies, cooking, and taking care of her large vegetable and flower gardens. We have lost our matriarch but know she is at peace in heaven with those she loved that passed before her. Visitation and Services will be held on Tuesday, July 18th at St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul, MO beginning at 9:30 AM for family and 10:00 AM for friends with the funeral Mass immediately following at 11:00 AM. Interment immediately following the mass at St. Paul Cemetery. A luncheon celebration of her life at St. Paul Knights of Columbus Hall.
