ROSALEE BANDA Pratt: Rosalee Rothman Banda, 85, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, in Bedford, Texas. She was born on August 21, 1939, in Altamont, Kansas to George Earl Rothman and Ruth Rothman (Massoni). Rosalee's early childhood was spent on the farm where she helped her stepfather, Curt Massoni, with chores and learned how to drive and plow with the tractor. The family later moved to Sawyer, Kansas where she graduated from high school. She married and the family eventually settled in Texas where her children were raised. Rosalee moved back to Kansas after her mother's passing and worked for Wal-Mart, retiring after 22 years of service. She was an animal lover and provided a loving home to many puppies and kitties through the years. Fiercely independent and resourceful, she could repair almost anything and found joy in the great outdoors. She is survived by her children, Tony (Alycia) Harp of Bedford, Texas, Terry (Nancy) Harp of Saginaw, Texas, Monty (Colette) Harp of Palm Bay, Florida and Melissa (Gustavo) Ramirez of Garland, Texas; brother, Ralph Rothman of Springfield, Colorado; grandchildren, Brian (Melissa) Harp of Fort Worth, Texas, Amber (Josh) Jowers of Lubbock, Texas, Chase (Abby) Harp of Fort Worth, Texas, Chelsea Harp of Saginaw, Texas, Gus Ramirez of Garland, Texas, Kristina Ramirez (Armando Mendoza) of Mesquite, Texas, Rosalinda (Eduardo) Adata of Garland, Texas, Tenisha Picinich of Lakeland, Florida, Tionna Picinich of Melbourne, Florida, eight great-grandchildren, two nieces and three nephews. Rosalee is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lorraine Glenn. Visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, with family present from 1-5. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Ellenwood Cemetery, Sawyer with John Hamm presiding. Memorials may be made to Pratt Area Humane Society.
