Rosalie Ludwikoski-Billow, age 76, of Centerville, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
While her kids were growing up, Rosalie stayed home to care for her family. Later in life, she worked several years in retail and assisting the office with accounting at Sears department store. She later worked at GE Card Services as a customer service associate, where she retired.
Rosalie was known for being a perfectionist, very persistent, and organized. She was always willing to help her friends, co-workers and HOA staff when help was needed. She was an animal lover who raised three dogs over the years, as well as several turtles and a parrot. Her favorite dogs were Mocha, Sable, and Oreo, while her parrot was known as Clarabelle. She greatly enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, as well as working on puzzles. She was always very detail-oriented, and she kept her house in immaculate condition. She hosted numerous Tupperware parties in her home over the years, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Rosalie was an excellent cook and will be remembered for her delicious rhubarb pie, pumpkin roll, Polish Kielbasa, and classic blue cheeseball. Most importantly, Christmas time was her favorite time to make all her cookie recipes.
Rosalie enjoyed several traditions over the years. She enjoyed traveling to Toledo to visit her family and friends where she grew up. She made many visits to Toledo with her daughters. Rosalie and her sister, Janice, always coordinated a yearly "cousin party." Rosalie's most favorite thing to do was visit Disney World. She planned several trips with her family and her sister's family to visit Mickey Mouse, which extended to trips with the grandchildren later in life. It was also a tradition for Rosalie's immediate family to enjoy the 4th of July holiday gatherings while living in North Olmsted. She always had a very close relationship with her sisters, resulting in fun get-togethers on a regular basis.
Rosalie enjoyed watching all the Pixar and Disney movies with her grandkids. She was proud of her movie collections, and the grandkids were always excited to have sleepovers with " Grammy".
Rosalie also enjoyed bargain shopping. Where there was a festival, garage sale, or just a sale, she would find a way to be there to shop.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Janice Sandys and JoAnn Tourrette, and her parents, John and Rose Ludwikoski. She is survived by two daughters, Janet (Terry) Cain and Julie (Andrew) Burdg; five grandchildren, Merritt, Devin, Mitchell, Morgan, and Malorie; brothers-in-law, Dave Sandys and Chuck Tourrette; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 31, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Waynesville. Father Tom Mannebach will be officiating the services. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent De Paul through St. Augustine Catholic Church and/or the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.

I met Rosalie years ago at her house (I am a friend of Julie's) and her house was immaculate. She introduced me to her turtles whom she loved very much. I remember her days at Ge. You will be missed, Miss Rosalie but I am glad you are no longer in pain and Heaven has another feisty Angel. God bless.
