Rosalie C. Maglio (nee Sciortino), born January 2, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2025 with her loving family by her side. Her passing leaves a void that will be impossible to fill. Nana had a grace and beauty that belied her strength and courage. Nana's last years were not easy without her beloved and devoted husband, Alfred. Theirs is a love story for the ages that leaves her children and grandchildren knowing what real and true love looks like. They were married for nearly 67 wonderful years, living first in Milwaukee, Wisconsin before retiring to Naples, Florida. We will always remember her beautiful singing voice, her loving spirit, and her questionable joke telling. Nana always took pride in her family, her appearance, and the spotlessness of her home. She made us promise to include that last one! Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband Alfred C. Maglio, her parents, Grace and Peter Sciortino, and her sister, Phyllis Hill. She is survived by her devoted daughters Fran Wallace (the late Jeffrey Wallace), Grace Maglio (Mark Pembroke), and Jackie Maglio; as well as her loving grandchildren Maddie Wallace, Rosalia and Liam Pembroke, and Grace and Grant Hussey (Jarjieh Fang); her sister Jean Ann Arden; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
