Rosalinda Felipe Obituary

Published by Legacy from Nov. 17 to Nov. 20, 2025.
Rosalinda "Rose" Felipe, née Reyes, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, in Southern Pines, North Carolina, at the age of 79. Born on October 1, 1946, in Calexico, California, Rosalinda lived a life rich with creativity, family, tradition, and love.

Rosalinda married her beloved husband, John Geronimo Felipe, in 1962, and together they built a beautiful life and family. She was the devoted mother of four children-Lawrence Felipe, Paul Felipe, Candy Felipe, and Eric Felipe-and the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

A woman of many talents, Rosalinda was an artisan, cosmetologist, and skilled seamstress. Whether crafting something beautiful by hand or helping others feel their best, her creativity flowed through everything she touched. She had a deep appreciation for the arts and treasured outings to the theater and cinema with her grandchildren. Her love for classic stories-especially those from the Pride and Prejudice era-inspired her to attend period-style balls, where she delighted in dancing and immersing herself in the elegance of the past.

Rosalinda had a warm fondness for British television, movies, and westerns, often finding comfort and joy in the stories she watched. Above all, she loved gathering people together. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the unmistakable scent of hospitality. She took great pride in being a generous hostess, welcoming family and friends with open arms.

One of Rosalinda's favorite pastimes was sharing afternoon tea or a cup of coffee with Mexican bread, sitting at her kitchen table chatting with her grandkids or friends for hours. She loved reading stories and was a great storyteller. These simple, heartfelt moments were among her most cherished.

She was also an enthusiastic traveler who enjoyed trips to San Francisco with her husband and grandchildren. She loved exploring the world, but nothing meant more to her than time spent with her family-especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Rosalinda leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, kindness, and joy. Her family and all who knew her will remember her for her generous spirit, her grace, her talent, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.

She will forever be loved and deeply missed.
