Rosario Reyes DeLuna

Rosario Reyes Deluna, 83, went to be with the Lord July 12, 2024. She was born on March 6, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas a daughter of the late, Juana Hernandez Gomez and Ricardo Reyes.
Rosario accomplished much in life and will profoundly be missed. She was a proud graduate of Sydney Lanier High School who loved arts and crafts and was a huge San Antonio Spurs fan.
She is preceded in death by her second husband Al Deluna; sisters Aurelia Spang, Consuelo Hughes and Dolores Moreno; brothers Robert Reyes, Raymundo Reyes, Emilio Reyes, Rodolfo Reyes and Ricardo Reyes; and son-in-law Ricardo Salas, Jr.
Family members include her children, Leticia Alderete Hernandez (Janie), Alfredo Alderete Jr, Alberto Alderete (Monica), Laura Marie Salas, Arnulfo R. Alderete (Elizabeth), and Lillian Alderete (Ric); 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm for visitation and at 6:00 pm for the rosary service.
A funeral mass will be conducted on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Holy Family Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow with a graveside service held in San Fernando Cemetery II.
