On June 29, 2024, the world was unexpectedly dimmed as Rose Engel, age 58, passed away. Her beloved husband, William Engel, age 65, followed her swiftly on June 30, 2024, while in Iowa. Rose and William lived in Cookville, Texas.
Rose and William's journey began in Blane, Minnesota on October 23, 1982, where they exchanged vows and embarked on a loving partnership that was nearing its remarkable 42nd year.
Rose and William were both born in Minnesota; Rose was born to William and Doris Goins on January 1, 1966, and William was born to Donald and Virginia Engel on April 16, 1959.
Rose and William are survived by their children; Christina Engel and Alexandra Engel, grandchildren; Tony Young, April and Tyler Troxel, Christian Young, Jarod White, Hayleigh Engel, Kieli Engel, and Micheal Engel, Jr. great-grandchildren; John Troxel, and Lilah Troxel. Rose is also survived by her siblings; Roy and Kim Goins, Robert and Betty Goins, Russell Goins, Rebecca Goins, and 17 nieces and nephews. William is also survived by his father, Donald Engel and his brother, Dean Engel, and his three children.
Rose and William are preceded in death by their son, Michael Engel, Sr., and granddaughter, Alexis Reller. Rose is also preceded in death by her grandparents, Larance and Fannie Swearengin, her parents, William and Doris Goins, and brother, Rance Goins. William is also preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Engel.
