A woman of true class. I was fortunate to have her as a professor at FHSU and her valued the wisdom she expressed in the Sociology of the Family class. I still utilize the information and insight gained in the classes that I teach today and remember the kind heart she expressed to students by being inclusive.

I took Rose's Sociology of Death & Dying class as an undergrad at FHSU... She truly was a remarkable & unforgettable teacher; I remember her well 20+ years later! What a legacy & life well-lived! May those who know & love dear Rose feel God's peace & solace in the days ahead & may we all always remember the very best memories of her!

As a Sociology major at FHSU from 1974-78, I had many excellent classes with Rose. but I was especially fortunate to have her as an advisor during that time. I owe her a great deal as she helped me navigate scheduling classes and gave me insightful advice. I always admired her and was blessed to have known her. Hers was a life well lived and she had a positive impact on many.
