Rose Ann Bobo

Rose Ann Bobo, 89, of McArthur, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on March 16, 1936, in Vinton County, the daughter of the late Fred and Laura (Wortman) Jarvis. Rose Ann was the widow of the late Donald Eugene Bobo.

Rose Ann was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Creola. She also volunteered at the Heritage House in McArthur. Rose Ann enjoyed tending to her garden and sewing, and she loved spending time with her large family.

Rose Ann is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins including special nieces and nephews, Mary Kay Campbell, Cory Danner, Skya Hamilton, Kaitlen Danner, Layne Danner, Rose Nichols, and Oaklenn Stevens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters and brothers; nieces and nephews, Brenda Jewell, Bob Turner, Kevin Bethel, and Mac Jarvis; and “granddaughter”, Sierra Danner.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm.
