Rose Mary Burckhardt, age 59 of Packwaukee passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Rose was born in Portage on June 26, 1966 to Kenneth and Lucille (Langrehr) Barton. She grew up in Packwaukee and attended Montello Schools. Rose was united in marriage to Gary Burckhardt in Packwaukee on August 13, 1983; together they have been blessed with three children.
Rose was employed at Brakebush Bros where she was about to begin her 30th year of employment. She loved animals, cooking and could always be found going on walks or even fishing with her soul mate, Gary. Rose will be remembered for her kind and loving heart, helping all those around her and spending time with her family.
Rose is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gary, mother, Lucille Barton and daughter, Renae (Allen) Bahn and their children: Kenneth and Howard; son, Bradley Burckhardt and daughter, Lori (fiance, Lucas Hillsberg) Andresen and her children: Olivia and Dakota all of Packwaukee. She is also survived by four brothers-in-law: Dennis (Elaine) Burckhardt, Richard Burckhardt, Jeff Burckhardt and Herman Burckhardt; two sisters-in-law: Donna Barber and Susan Burckhardt along with several other extended family members.
Rose is preceded in death by her father, two brothers-in-law: Steven Burckhardt and Richard Barber and two sisters-in-law: Ruth Claude and Bette (Peter) Peterson.
A funeral service for Rose Burckhardt will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at The First Presbyterian Church in Packwaukee. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Pastor Brenda Pulver will preside and burial will follow at Underhill Cemetery, Town of Packwaukee. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family.
