Michael J. Grant & Thomas A. Marinello Funeral Home of Coram, N.Y., is honored to be entrusted with the funeral services of, Rose E. Cona Visitation services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 Visiting will begin in the morning from 10:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. A procession to Calverton National, where Rose will be laid to eternal rest with her loving husband.
Rose E. Cona, 87, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on October 19th, 2025. Rose was born in Brooklyn NY in 1938. It was here that she met her high school sweetheart Bobby Cona. After graduating Rose worked as a secretary in downtown Manhattan and loved being in New York City.
Rose (ELSIE) married Bob in 1958 upon his return from the Marine Corps. They moved to Long Island, where Rose devoted her life to raising her four children. She was beautiful, witty, and always very thoughtful. She will be greatly missed.
Rose is survived by children, Susan (John) Esposito Deborah (Richard) Corde, Robert Cona and Anthony Cona.
Grandchildren John Paul, Robert and Christopher Esposito, Dana Crane, Thomas Arena, Richard Corde, Madison Humphreys, Natalie and Dominick Cona. Great grandchildren; Vincent and Lilliana Esposito, Lachlan, Atlas, and Viviane Crane and Michaela Corde.
