Rose Mary Crow

Rose Mary Crow, 85, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday, July 5, 2023. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will follow visitation at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 10, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Rose was born May 6, 1938, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Anthony and Dorothy (Hughes) Celania. She was united in marriage to Dan C. Crow on Oct. 14, 1956. Rose assisted her husband Dan at his drywall company as a bookkeeper. She also worked for the American Diabetes Association, Merchants National Bank, and retired from McCleod USA. Her favorite and most rewarding job was being a homemaker. Survivors include her three sons, Dan Crow Jr., Steve (Anita) Crow and Cary (Wendy) Crow; daughter, Lori (Ernie) Schrage; grandchildren, Nicole Schrage and Emerson and Avery Crow; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Zoey Schrage; and siblings, Bob Celania, Mike Celania, Richard Celania and Madelyne Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Dorothy Celania; husband, Dan Crow; daughter, Pamela Crow; grandson, Ian Schrage; and siblings, Louise Potter, Margaret Blumer, Tony Celania and Vic Celania.
