Rose Carol Davis, age 79, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 11, 1945, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to the late Delmar and Gladia (Ratliff) Fraley, Rose was known for her engaging personality and ability to connect with people, she never met a stranger. To know her was to love her. Rose found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren and cherished trips to the beaches of Florida. She retired from BMW Financial Services in 2005 after a fulfilling career.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, George Davis; her children:Tamika Reid of Tucson, Arizona, Shasta Reid of Cleveland, Ohio, Sacheen Garrison of Blacklick, Ohio, Rommel Davis (Carla) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Lisha Davis Perdue of Pataskala, Ohio. Rose is also survived by her loving siblings: Marsha Meek (Gerald) of Thelma, Kentucky; Larry Fraley (Sarah) of Pinellas Park, Florida; and Ron Fraley (Sharon) of Swartz Creek, Michigan. She leaves behind 14 beloved grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous special nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved as her own.
Rose was preceded in death by her brothers, David, Bill, Charles (Bud), Dean, and Carlos Fraley; her sisters, Barbara Maupin, Ann Treague, and Marlene Fraley; as well as her nephews, Michael Maupin, Paul Fraley, Rick and Ron Treague.
