Rose Marie Fischetti, 94, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born to the late Francesca and Francesco Geramita, Rose was a loving and devoted wife to the late Vincent J. Fischetti, Jr. Rose's legacy lives on through her children: Vincent J. (Lisa) Fischetti, III., Michael (Michael McManus) Fischetti, Denise (Christopher) Seneca, and Diane (the late Charles) Miller; her grandchildren: Chuck (Shannon) Miller, Dean Miller, and Kristian, Carly and Courtney Seneca; and her great-grandchildren: Mikayla and Natalie Miller. Predeceased by five siblings, Rose leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. More than anything, Rose will be remembered as a caregiver. Whether it was for her family, her friends, or even strangers, she always put others first. Her generosity and compassion knew no bounds. She opened her heart and her home to all, creating a welcoming space filled with love and laughter. Known as Rosie, Ro-Ro and Grammy, Rose found great joy in life's simple pleasures: building intricate puzzles, embarking on exciting cruises, engaging in lively card games, and enjoying her favorite cooking shows. But above all, she cherished having people over for dinner and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt like family. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Rose's life on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 2-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 26, at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont. Burial will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved Vincent. In lieu of flowers, a gift can be made in tribute to Rose to the Pediatric & Oncology Ward of UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation https://secure.givetochildrens.org
