Rose Girolamo

With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Rose Girolamo, a devoted wife, mother, cherished grandmother and loyal friend, who left this world peacefully on December 25th, 2025 at the age of 88.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Rose lived a life centered around family, kindness, and quiet strength. She was the heart of her home-someone who could make any place warm with her smile. Her greatest joy in life was raising her family and watching them grow and she never missed a chance to celebrate every milestone, big or small.

As a mother, Rose nurtured with patience, wisdom, and love that knew no bounds. As a grandmother, she became the source of stories, hugs, sweets, and encouragement-leaving behind memories that her grandchildren will carry for a lifetime. She had a gift for making each person feel truly seen and valued.

Rose will be deeply missed by her children, Gregory Girolamo and Joanne Rella, son in law, Francis, daughter in law, Sonia and her grandchildren, Gregory, Sydney, Nicholas and Jack, along with extended family and friends who were blessed to know her. She is reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Rocco.

A service type: funeral/memorial/celebration of life will be held on December 30th from 4-8pm at Bryant Funeral Home, 411 Old Town Road, Setauket, NY where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor her life.

Though she is no longer physically with us, the love she gave and the lessons she taught will remain a guiding light. Her legacy lives on in every person she touched.
