Rose Doris Gorab

Rose "Doris" Gorab, 95, of Washington, NJ passed away on February 25, 2024 at home with loved ones by her side.
Doris was born on July 1, 1928 in Paterson, NJ to the late Raymond and Rose DiRisio (nee. Severino).
Doris was a graduate of Washington High School class of 1945 and also Rittinelli Beauty School in Paterson, NJ. She worked as a hairdresser at Candy Lin Beauty Shop in Washington, NJ and also helped her husband, Herman, at the Warren County Pharmacy. Doris was a member of the Eastern Star for many years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family in her spare time.
She is survived by her children; Lori Shirey and her husband Richard and David Gorab and his wife Nicole. Doris also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren; Gabrielle Accetturo, Sierra Accetturo, Jessica Shirey, Arianna Gorab and Nickolas Gorab and step grandchildren; Eric Shirey and Danielle Shirey.
In addition to her parents, Doris is predeceased by her loving husband, Herman, who passed in 2022 and her brothers; Raymond DiRisio and Julius DiRisio.
