Rose Teresa Groff

Rose Teresa Groff, 86, of New Providence, entered into rest on Monday, July 22, 2024, at her home. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Miguel and Ruperta (Santiago) Vega. She was the loving wife of the late John G. Groff, Sr. for 58 years at the time of his passing in 2019.
Rose was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and fishing. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and loved spending time with her family and grand dog, Scrappy.
Rose is survived by 3 children: Rose M. Groff, John G. Groff, Jr., and Joan L. Cutler; 5 grandchildren: Stephen T. Groff (Caitlin Akerly), John G. Groff, III, Dalton Groff, Kaitlyn Cutler (Josh Giglio), and Trevor Cutler; 2 great grandchildren: Aiden Longenecker and Ariella Groff; and siblings, Felix Vega and Irma Morales. She was preceded in death by siblings, Carmen Nieves and Jose Santiago and a son-in-law, Kevin Cutler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Hwy, Quarryville, PA on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Conestoga Memorial Park. There will be a viewing at the church from 10-11 a.m.
