Rose M. Guy, age 88, of Massillon, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Rose was born in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Charles and Mary (Lopez) Gibson.
She is proceeded in death by her husband James Guy, son Richard Scott Guy, brothers Charles (Skip) Gibson, Wes Gibson, sisters Patty Bahl and Mary Jane Gibson. She is survived by her son Jim (Gina) Guy, grandchildren Justin (Whitney) Guy, Chelsea (Joe) Kostolich, Jarrod Guy, Evan Guy, Sarah Guy, great grandchildren Nichole, Kaidence, Jaycee, Conner, Carlie, Logan, Emma, Danica, Jelena, Lincoln, and Ariana, brother Dennis (Joyce) Gibson, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3757 Lincoln Way East, Massillon, OH on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, from 10am-10:45am, followed by a funeral service. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial gardens.
The family would like to thank all of the health care workers at Traditions Health Hospice involved in Rose’s care.
