Rose Mary Kelley

Rose M. Kelley, 88, of Le Roy passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.

Rose was born December 23, 1937 at Fenwick, WV a daughter of the late Harley Dayton and Gladys Mural (O’Dell) McClung. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by a siblings Elaine Hickman, Phyllis Kelley, Belisia King, Norma McClung, Jenny Cook, Lowell and Jack McClung.

Rose will be remembered for being an amazing and loving wife to Ancil and always making sure he was taken care of. She and Ancil traveled many places, but their favorite was camping trips to Cranberry, Audra and Camp David where she loved being with all her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Rose was a Christian by faith and attended the Church of God.

Rose is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Ancil Kelley; brothers Harley McClung and Charles McClung and sister, Sharon Stowers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews she had a passion for helping and treating them like they were her own.

Funeral service will be 1p.m. Saturday, January 31st at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Lowell McClung officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
