Rose Marie Latsko, 97, formerly of Union Township passed away the evening of April 28, 2025 at her residence in Shenango Township.
Born in New Castle on November 27, 1927 Marie was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth Bohizic Fiello.
On September 14, 1948 Marie married her beloved husband, Robert Latsko. Robert preceded her in death on June 29, 1987.
In the early years Marie had worked at A&P Supermarket. She then worked as the Deli Manager at Rocky's Supermarket.
Marie was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. She was an avid walker way into her ninety's. Marie was a very talented lady and enjoyed sewing, line dancing and was known as the Best Pizzamaker.
Marie is survived by her three children, Robert Latsko (Mary), Joseph Latsko (Casey) and Elizabeth "Lisa" Staph (Joseph), her two grandchildren, Liza Kendall (Michael) and Annie Latsko and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was preceded in death by her two brothers, Tony Fiello and Bernie Fiello and one sister, Joann Commisso.
Visitation will be on Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will follow on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Father John Gizler officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
The Family would just like to say Thanks Be to God our Lord and Savior for letting us enjoy her long life on this earth. Also, a special thanks to Three Rivers Hospice for letting us have Mom at home during her last days. And a very special Thanks to Leslie and Pam for all their extra help during this most difficult time.
