Dear Michael, Anthony, Patty and family, I am so sorry to hear of you mother´s passing. I always called your parents, Uncle Carmen and Aunt Rosie, even though they are my cousins. It was a lifetime ago it seems that we were at Grandma Grace´s having dinner at Christmas!
I know what it feels like to lose a mom, and to think that your mom and my mom are together, is a joy! Your mom always made me and my mom , and everyone she was around, laugh and feel so good to be in the same room with her. She had a gift of laughter! That is so special. She was a generous woman with a big heart.
I pray for peace and healing to surround you all in these days ahead. May our Lord comfort all of you and bring His peace and love to your hearts. Much love , Cousin Lori

We are so very sorry to hear of Rose passing away. Our condolences go out to the entire Lofaro family. You couldn’t meet better people then Rose and Carmen Lofaro. Rose was such a wonderful person. She was so kind and generous and had such a great sense of humor. My mother (Millie) and Rose were friends for over 50 years. They had coffee together almost every day on Wilson Street. Rose was such a great friend to our family. There were times when things were very tight financially for us and Rose helped us out in so many ways. She would give my mom rides to get groceries when our car was broken and even lend my mom money for groceries if she needed it. Whenever I would come home from leave from the Air Force she would bake me a German Chocolate Cake and bring it over to the house. Rose was a great baker and often brought us bake goods. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Rose lived for her family! She will be missed by so many that loved and cherished her so much. The doors to Heaven are wide open for Rose as she goes to be with God and the Angels in eternal glory in Heaven Rose and Millie will be having coffee in Heaven together. God Bless them both!

I lived next door to Rose (I called her Roro) for 7 years and she was the cutest sassafras I've ever met. My favorite memory is her cursing and shaking her fist at the snowplow drivers for pushing snow into the bottom of her driveway. Then she giggled because I had more snow in my driveway because they swept her snow into mine. She has been in my thoughts for many years. My condolences to the family.
