Rose Marie Ann DeCarlo, age 99, of Chambersburg, PA, and formerly of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born September 4, 1925, in Washington, D.C, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Tomlinson Geraci, Jr.
Mrs. DeCarlo earned her business degree and worked as a Dictaphone Operator for the National Radio Institute.
She is survived by her children, Nicholas Charles DeCarlo (Rebecca), Katherine Bombard (Robert), Patricia Laughlin (Robert), Steven DeCarlo, and James DeCarlo; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Charles DeCarlo in 1995, her daughter, Cecilia Nasca, her granddaughter, Kelly Marie Saylors, and her three brothers, Frank, Tommy, and Richard Geraci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Peter’s Parish Catholic Church, 2900 Olney-Sandy Spring Rd., Olney, MD 20832. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass in the above church and address. Interment will follow the service in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. Arrangements are entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Greencastle, PA. Online condolences may be offered on her page at www.zimmermanfh.com.
