Rose Maynard Obituary
Born in North Adams on April 14, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Barbara (Goddard) Guertin Gardzina.
Rose graduated from Drury High School and attended Berkshire Community College. She was employed as a seamstress at the former Berkshire Fine Spinning in North Adams.
Rose enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, classic rock music, and attending Pow-Wows. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Cheesbro of North Adams; her sons, Aaron Maynard of Londonderry, New Hampshire, and Scott Maynard of North Adams. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren: Nicholas Palumbo, Kylie Palumbo, Claudia Maynard, Erin Maynard, and Braydon Maynard.
Calling hours for Rose Maynard will take place on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, West Chapels, 521 West Main Street, North Adams, Massachusetts. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.
