Rose Marie McClain

Rose Marie McClain, age 64, of Millersburg, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 18th, 2024 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home, Millersburg, Ohio. She fought a courageous battle.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1pm to 3pm, Saturday, August 3rd at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. The first hour is for visitation with family & friends, the second hour will be a time of remembrance & sharing memories of Rose.
Rose was born January 8th, 1960 in Mansfield, Ohio and was the daughter of Ronald McClain and Margaretha (Wade) Robinette. She was a graduate of Ontario High School. Rose was a corrections officer at the Holmes County Sheriff's Department for over 10 years and worked for the Holmes County Board of DD as a bus driver. She was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Stillwell. Rose loved wind spinners, wind chimes, solar lights and going to her favorite store, Hobby Lobby to decorate her home with love inside & out. She enjoyed going out and having fun, simply cherishing life.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Nicole McClain of Millersburg, Ohio; her father, Ronald (Mary) McClain, Sr of Perrysville, Ohio; her mother, Margaretha Robinette of Bucyrus, Ohio; her three siblings: Becky (Mark) Hay of Perrysville, Ohio, Ron (Josie) McClain, Jr. of Big Prairie, Ohio and Colleen (Joshua) Laferty of Nevada, Ohio; four nieces and one nephew: Tabatha, Joshua, Kimberly (James), Samantha and Abbey; her best friend for over 30 years, Sue Meyers; and her unofficial adopted children: daughter, Brittney Boynak and son, Sean O'Dell.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Frank Robinette.
