Rose Moylan Obituary

Rose was born on March 9, 1928, in Utica, the daughter of Edward and Frances (Palmateer) Cloonan. She graduated from Utica Catholic Academy in 1946.
On October 14, 1950, Rose married Thomas P. Moylan in St. Agnes Church. They enjoyed a union of 40 years prior to his death on June 14, 1990.
Surviving are six children, Karen Moylan, Mary Frances Moylan, Bernadette Ream, Peter Moylan, Timothy (Colleen) Moylan and Thomas (Cathleen) Moylan, Jr.; sister, Mary Houle; beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Lawrence Moylan and his wife, Kathy, and many nieces and nephews.
Rose was predeceased by her son, Dennis Moylan; sister, Patricia Hill and brother, John Cloonan.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes Campus, 2222 Genesee St., Utica. The family will receive guests following the Mass. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Rose's name may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the Mass.
