Rose Marie Nicastro

Rose Marie Nicastro, 90, of Lower Burrell, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, in her home. She was born in Pine Bluff, AR, on Dec. 10, 1934, to the late Samuel F. and Beatrice McGee Cicero and had been a resident of Lower Burrell for the past 68 years. Mrs. Nicastro was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell, where she was also a volunteer. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed bowling and card club. She is survived by her three daughters, Laure (Bruce) Craven of Lower Burrell, Susan (Donald) Steedle of McCandless Township, and Lisa King of Cranberry Tonwship; grandchildren, Eric (Brianna) Clements, Michael (Samantha) Clements, Gregory (Veronica) Steedle, Nicole Steedle, Jacob (Kaitlyn) King, and Jessica King; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Maxwell, Calvin, Enzo, and Killian; and brothers, Sam (Juanita), Carl (Mary Frances), Tom (Jean), and Pat (Susan) Cicero. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. Anthony Nicastro; companion, Tad Kaminski; and sisters-in-law, Lucille Nelson and Jean Gaydos. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road at Alder St., where Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church.
