Rose M. Pompeii

Rose was born Rose Nemec September 3, 1931 in Binghamton, New York where she continued to live her life. She was the youngest of 11 children and outlived them all. She passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Rose married Thomas Pompeii. They were great together for over 50 years. Bought a home and completely renovated it themselves while she worked at Marine Midland Bank. Rose was a strong, independent woman yet very generous. She had varied interests such as mastering large puzzles, painting the interior of her home, embroidery, making curtains, and had a tool shop. She is survived by many loyal friends and loving family.
Heartfelt goodbyes will take place August 18, 2022 at 12Noon at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 501 Fairview Street, Johnson City, New York 13790. In lieu of flowers; donations to St. Jude's are requested.
