Rose Marie Ratliff

Rose Marie Ratliff, 65, of Nettie passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at CAMC, General.

She was born on April 7, 1960 at Charleston; she was the daughter of the late James Taylor and Peggy Faye Armstead.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Ratliff; sister, Donna Taylor; brother, James Armstead and one grandchild, Samuel Floyd Ratliff.

Rose was a volunteer at Helping Hands Ministries. She enjoyed drawing, sewing, crocheting and liked going to yard sales. She loved spending time with her family especially playing ball. She will be missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clay Dale Ratliff; daughter, Lisa (fiancé, Lee) Springstead of Richwood; son, James (Elizabeth) Ratliff of Carl; sisters, Helen (Wayne) Dobson of Nettie, Debra (Shawn) Amick of Leivasy; brothers, David Taylor of SC and Wayne (Lisa) Taylor of VA; six grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2023 at Nettie Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 until time of service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
