August 5th, 2025 the world lost one of its brightest lights. Cindy Rose was born at the St. Rose Hospital in Henderson, Nevada on November 18, 2000. Cindy was a kind, loving, humorous, energetic, charismatic, and overall beautiful soul.
Her memory will live on by her 5 year old daughter, Shiloh Kay Hobson and her spouse, Connor Daniel Hobson. Her parents are Brent Kunz (Kimberly Kunz), Sheri Kunz, and Rachell Reed. Her siblings include Tracy Manning, Madelyn Ashley, Tiffany Sampson (William Sampson), Kacey Larsen (Caitlin Larsen) Brittany Gaudig (Bruin Gaudig), and Shaylee Larsen. In addition to her living family, she will be preceded in death by her grandparents Harry and Carol Petrie and LaRae Kunz.
Cindy was often found in the mountains with friends and animals, where she always included her passions with Shiloh. Cindy was devoted to collecting taxidermy, so much so that she started a small business called Rose Moon Oddities. Where there were bones and spooky things, there was Cindy and she was proud to turn her love for them into a piece of art she could share with others. Another accomplishment Cindy was proud of reaching 7 years of sobriety from the unfortunate hard substances that once surrounded her before.
The time we shared with Cindy here on earth isn’t as long as we will share her in our hearts, laughs, tears and memories. Her character was truly unique and if you were so blessed to have met her, you know that her impact is forever lasting . There will never be another Cindy but I hope for everyone to have a Cindy in their life.
