Rose Szerszen Obituary
Born June 23, 1929 in Jeddo, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Lisnock) Yanek.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Teresa Heath of Sarasota, FL, and Janet M. Gribosh (John) of Gilbertsville; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; her brother, Joe Yanek of Lansdale; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Yanek, Emil Yanek, and Bernard Yanek; and sister, Mary Ellen Lobitz.
Rose loved to cook, and especially try out new recipes on her friends! She enjoyed feeding all her friends. In addition, she was an avid reader.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023 at St. Mary Center, 701 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. in St. Casimer's Cemetery (Old), Freeland, PA. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
