Lisa Szerszen Obituary
She was born on September 16, 1965 in Elmira, New York the daughter of the late Frederick and Carol (DeWolfe) Stevens. Lisa was a graduate of Corning East High School. She married Matthew Szerszen on August 18, 2018. She was employed by Corning Incorporated.
Lisa will be remembered for her love of music and her beautiful voice. She had a passion for cooking, gardening and interior design. Her family will remember her compassion for others.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Matthew Szerszen; children: Candice (Brent) McUmber and Tiffany (Brian) Schroeder; stepchildren: Sidney Szerszen, Lauren Szerszen and Dillon Szerszen; mother, Carol DeWolfe; grandchildren: Aubree, Piper, and Lucas; siblings: Laurie (Clayton) Bronson, Matthew (Rebekah) Stevens, Mark (Tammy) Stevens, and Paul (Stacy) Stevens.
Lisa was predeceased by her son, Wesley Munn.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St. Corning, NY. A graveside service will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lisa's name may be sent to: Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepard Rd, Waverly, NY 14892 and Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 402 Sullivan St, Elmira, NY 14901
