Rose Marie Tullis

Aiken- Ms. Rose Marie Wood Tullis, 62, passed away Thursday, January 4th, 2024. Rose was born in Baltimore MD, but was raised in Aiken, SC. Daughter of the late Frances Shackleford Rogers and Silas Wood. She worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for 23 years. She was apart of the Project Drew Foundation, which helped solve cold cases and find missing people. She was also apart of Team Travis, Coles Comrades and 22 Is Too Many, which would help Veterans get the resources they need, and bring awareness to Veteran suicide. Rose is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Marie Tullis; Sisters, Pamela L Wood and Kim Greenway;Brother Glenn Costella and grandchildren Alia Marie Plunkett (Ethan Ghant), Mason Brian Plunkett, Harliann Grace Plunkett, and Jade Madison Tullis. She was preceded in death by a son, Travis Tullis; Step-son Baxter Felix Vinson Jr.; brother, Stanley Silas Wood and her best friend Baxter Felix Vinson Sr. A Celebration of Life for Rose will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at SHELLHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 924 HAYNE AVE., AIKEN, SC.  The family will receive friends following the service.
