Rose Marie Wells, better known to all of us as Rosie, was born on Sunday, July 15, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. Rosie was the firstborn child of John Philip and Maria Rita Levesque. Rosie was named after her paternal grandmother, Rose Marie Levesque. Rosie was the eldest of four daughters, followed by Veronica, Deanna, and Marijean. As a child, Rosie’s artistic talent was always well beyond her years. Her father, John Philip, would often ask Rosie to create family greeting cards, where Rosie would showcase an array of illustrations and write with the most beautiful penmanship. Throughout high school, Rosie continued to expand on her artistic talent. Rosie took classes in ceramics, drama, Model United Nations, and art history. Rosie graduated from Tustin High School in 1997. Rosie would later reconnect with David Wells, the brother of her high school friend Christina. Dave and Rosie later married on October 2nd, 2004, in Newport Beach, California.

After high school, Rosie continued her pursuit of art, enrolling in college courses at Irvine Valley College. Later, she published multiple art pieces in books such as Poisoned Touch and Richard the Dragon, while working with her lifelong friend Monica McCormick at Poisoned Heart Productions.

Rosie was an artist, but the title wasn’t just a passion; it was her lifestyle. When she wasn’t arts and crafting, you would often find Rosie practicing Duolingo, catching Pokémon, watching anime, playing her favorite video games, or reading a new book. Rosie was the mother of two cats and a second mother to her many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and most of all a best friend to many. Rosie was the warm blanket after a terrible storm, a hug in the darkest of days. She often acted without question and loved without limits.
