Rose Mary was born in Hubbard, Tx. to Marshal and Nettie (Garrett) Berry on October 6, 1938. The family moved to Carbon, Tx. where they owned and operated a dairy farm. She attended school in Cisco where she graduated from Cisco High School and Cisco Jr. College. She then graduated from McMurry college with a degree in Elementary Education.

She married Wallace Donald "Don" Williams on June 1, 1963 in Carbon, Tx. They made their home in Abilene where they raised their two children while teaching for the Abilene Independent School District. Rose Mary retired after teaching 1st grade for thirty years. Her faith was an important part of her life, as she was a long-time and active member of First Methodist Church in Abilene. She participated in children's ministry for many years. She loved to read, do jigsaw puzzles, work with her flowers, and spend time with her family and friends. She especially loved being a grandmother.

Rose Mary was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, her parents, her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jerry Lyon, and her brother, Billy Berry.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Williams, her daughter and son-in-law, Kara and Randy Blackwell, her grandsons, Aden and Caleb Blackwell, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Though Rose Mary loved flowers, please consider packing a box in her memory for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child or donating to a charity for children.
