RoseMary Lowe Williams passed away unexpectedly and quickly from natural causes on Christmas Eve at the age of 90 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born October 5, 1935, in Monroe, Utah, to Joseph Lester "Les" & Lottie Swain Lowe at the "brick house" in town.

She had very fond memories growing up in Monroe. She attended Southern Utah University in Cedar City, then went to Utah State. It was too cold there, so she ended up in Salt Lake City, where she met and married Dad (Darl Craig Williams) in the Salt Lake Temple on April 24, 1959.

They moved to the Bay Area, had 2 kids, and made lifelong friends with the O'Connell's and the Cubic's/Riggs. Our "California Family," as we like to call them.

They divorced in 1972, and we moved to SLC, where she built a wonderful life for us. We loved growing up with our Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, the Hunts, Lowes, and Eyres, and family trips to Monroe to see Grandma!

She lived in and took good care of her home for 53 years (with the best neighbors on Roosevelt).

Mom started working for the Bureau of Reclamation in 1972 as a Secretary and retired in 1995 as a Water Contract Specialist. She made lifelong friends there, too, including Deb, Christina, Carol, Rose, and Emily.

Along the way in the 1980's, she became friends with a group of ladies from Al-Anon. Jerrie, Jean, Diana, and Beth remained friends for life. They leaned on and supported each other, traveled together, and had many themed dinners hosted by Mom.

Mom cherished all her friendships

After her retirement in 1995, she spent 20 years as an Usher at the Delta Center so she could see all the Jazz basketball games. Smart Lady, as this job financed all her great trips. She was always amazed that this "small town girl" was able to travel the world.

Aunt Mary was the "fun" Aunt. She loved all her nieces and nephews. She was especially close to Janet, and they went on many trips together. Mom was also grateful to Ron's wife, Peggy Hunt, for everything she does in the name of family.

Mom's greatest joy in this life is her granddaughter Ciera. She was so proud of the person and father her baby boy became to her most precious Ciera. And she was thrilled to see her get married to Peter last year. One of the best days of our lives.

She is survived by her daughter, Charron Leslie Williams, and partner Rielley Ray, as well as an important part of the family, Derrick Stanforth; her son, Craig Lowe Williams, and his daughter, Ciera and Peter Badrov (whom she thought was such a wonderful addition to our little family).

A "Celebration of Life" at her home will be held at a later date tbd.

We want to thank Tina for her love and generosity when Mom moved to assisted living in August. We love you, Tina!

And I want to thank Rielley for all the delicious dinners he prepared and served her over the last 4 years.

Give Buster a kiss for me and 3 fat-free wheat thins. Love you, Mama XOXOXO

Cremation will be held in the Magleby Mortuary and Cremation Center. Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Friday, January 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Monroe City Cemetery.
